This 25 min. video contains a speech by Dr. Simoncini and some excerpts from the patients' video interviews. INTRODUCTION Dr. Simoncini is not an "alternative" doctor, in that he doesn't just advocate a more or less effective natural remedy, but derives his protocols from a fully articulated, scientifically based theory that includes the very reason for the formation of tumors. In a nutshell, Dr. Simoncini believes that tumors are not just groups of cells "gone mad," but a desperate effort by an organ to build a physical barrier against the colony of fungi that has managed to bypass the immune system and is now attacking the organ. In itself, the presence of fungi in tumors is not a novelty at all, as doctors find them regularly in cancers examined in autopsies. Official medicine, however, believes that these colonies come to form as a consequence of cancer, while Dr. Simoncini believes that they are the cause. This represents a radical departure from the ongoing belief that cancer begins with some kind of a cellular disfunction. This fundamental conflict, which questions official oncology at its root, has gained Dr. Simoncini a large number of enemies, who flood the Web and the media with all kinds if accusations, distortions and misrepresentations. In 1994 Dr. Simoncini was disbarred from the Italian Medical Order, and was later brough to trial more than once, under the most diverse accusations. Despite this unrelenting opposition, to this date Dr. Simoncini has managed to treat dozens of "terminal" patients -- i.e. sent home to die by their doctors -- with brain, lung, prostate, liver, breast, uterus, bladder cancers, who have now returned to a regular life, many of them totally cancer-free. (See "Testimonies" for their interviews). Like all substances, sodium bicarbonate must be administered in precise locations and amounts in order to benefit and not hurt the patient. It can be delivered intravenously, by catheter, rectally, orally, or by direct injection into the organ, according to the case. Usually a catheter is put in place, and the patient receives the first cycle of sodium bicarbonate on the spot. After that he can return home and continue the treatment by himself. Dr. Simoncini believes that also skin cancers are caused by fungi, and treats them with Iodine tincture at 7% solution. Most "incurable" skin cancers fall off in a matter of weeks, including some of the nastiest melanomas. Most skin cancers can be treated at home, provided a correct diagnosis has been established first. (See "Practice" to learn more about the "do it yourself" treatment).
